My daughter (6) needed two extractions and was very scared of going to our local dentist. After a call with Maria, i was ready to take my daughter into see her at her Chelsea clinic. From the moment we walked in, Maria and Polly put my daughter at ease and for the first time in a long time, my daughter sat happily to have her teeth checked. The extraction took place at The Portland Hospital and once in the day case area, Maria came to meet with us along with the anaesthetist and spent time explaining the procedure and answering any questions we had. The procedure was completed and we were out within a few hours. Maria is amazing at being able to really reassure young children around what going for a dental check up should really be like - and does it with such a soft and calm approach. I cannot thank Maria enough for putting me at ease but also the way she has made my daughter feel.

My daughter has the most amazing and smooth experience with Dr Maria when she had a procedure for the exposure of two buried canines. Dr Maria was professional, efficient, supportive, focussed, calm and most importantly friendly; both myself and my daughter felt well cared for and safe.

Maria is not only an excellent doctor and professional but also very approachable and friendly. She was happy to answer all our questions about our son's procedure. She also managed to make our son cooperate throughout the process.

Dr Kalkani was extremely helpful, kind, and patient in helping us understand my daughter's teeth issues. She collaborated with an orthodontist to find the best way forward on which teeth to surgically remove to enable my daughter's adult teeth to be gently moved down over time. My daughter now has a beautiful smile with her own natural teeth that I was not sure at the beginning would be the end result. I have the upmost confidence in recommending Dr Kalkani for any complicated dental procedure.

Dr Kalkani has both the expertise in specialist pediatric dentistry combined with soft bedside manner that keeps children calm and parents confident when going through these procedures. We had four rotten teeth from birth removed and crowns for our 7 year old. Thank you.

Dr Maria was amazing with my two young children, she made them both feel so at ease- she was very patient, explained everything and included them in everything. My son has asked if he can go to the dentist every week!

Dr Kalkani was absolutely brilliant with our daughter. She knew exactly how to explain the procedures in a fun way and carried out her first tooth extraction with no problems at all. She made it a lovely experience and our daughter can’t wait to visit her again!

My daughters and I absolutely adore visiting Dr Kalkani! She treats the children with such joy, dignity and respect. She is extremely knowledgable, thorough and pays close attention to any dental issues or potential future dental issues. The team is really excellent in educating children about caring for their teeth and making good choices in terms of diet and which foods to avoid in order to protect their teeth. They also provide helpful instructions and give a bag of useful age-appropriate tooth tools and demonstrate how to brush and floss in an engaging setting. It's such a privilege to be able to have such an inspirational dentist for our children!

Great experience ! Dr Kalkani established a great relationship with my son and explained all the steps of the procedure taking place (tooth extraction ).
