About Dr Maher Hadaki
Dr Maher Hadaki is a UK-trained Consultant Clinical Oncologist who has been practising as a consultant since 2012.
He has extensive experience in the management of all stages of Breast and Lung cancers and provides personalised, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient. His expertise includes systemic anticancer therapies (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted and biological treatments) and advanced radiotherapy techniques, including external beam radiotherapy (IMRT and IGRT) and stereotactic radiotherapy (SBRT/SABR). He also works closely with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate access to molecular and genomic tumour profiling, clinical trials, and local ablative treatments such as radiofrequency and microwave ablation, where appropriate.
Dr Hadaki completed his specialist oncology training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, a leading teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Cambridge. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists and maintains full professional registration and revalidation.

To whom it may concern, My experience as a patient with Dr Maher Hadaki started in March this year with the diagnosis of lung cancer. Dr. Hadaki has been the most thoughtful and most concerned doctor I have had the pleasure as a patient to work with. From the outset his clear diagnosis and explanation of my condition and the comprehensive program of 'radical' chemotherapy and radiotherapy which he set-up over the next 3 months was well explained and very reassuring for me during that traumatic time. Dr. Hadaki's regular telephonic consultations were a great comfort during that long period of uncertainty and the call I had from him today giving me the 'all clear' that the program was a success and the cancer has been eradicated has been the best news I've ever had in my life! I would highly recommend Dr. Hadaki to any medical organisation as a leader in his field.
Dr Hadaki was very thorough and explained everything clearly. He was patient in clarifying for me aspects of the treatment that I had concerns about. He had a nice manner and gave me the time I needed to digest the information. He was kind enough to put all the information into an email, which I received the same day. This was very reassuring. My treatment so far from everyone at K & C and the QEQM hospitals has been excellent.
Always, polite, courteous and asks about you and your life before he talks about the oncology stuff!
Dr Hadaki has always explained everything to me with great clarity and such kindness. He has always been understanding in answering numerous questions, with a sense of empathy but at the same time conveying a confident certainty of his recommendations and advice. I feel extremely fortunate and grateful to have received my care from Dr Hadaki and his team.
Right from the start of my diagnosis with stage 4 breast cancer I have been treated very well. I started treatment with chemotherapy very quickly and the results were good. I find that Dr Hadaki makes me feel relaxed and not anxious when I see him as he has a relaxed calm disposition. I realise I am fortunate to have private healthcare but I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Hadaki as an excellent Oncologist who answers questions honestly and gives wonderful care
