Dr Lucky Saraswat

Dr Saraswat is clinically interested in endometriosis and pelvic pain, menstrual problems, pelvic floor dysfunction as well as all general gynaecological problems in premenopausal and postmenopausal women. She undertook a specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology in Aberdeen. In 2005, she won a gold medal award for MRCOG. She attended the famous RCOG Advanced Laparoscopic Fellowship, thereby empowering her to undertake complex laparoscopic surgery. When it comes to academics, Dr Saraswat is greatly interested in women's health research and her PhD research was on long term health outcomes in women with endometriosis. Her research papers are in very impactful journals and she has been to a variety of national and international conferences to deliver lectures. Dr Saraswat is into various research projects that focus on the improvement of women's health at the local and national level. She has been working as a Consultant Gynaecologist and Minimal access surgeon in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary since 2014.
