Dr Maiden listened and showed a genuine interest in understanding my symptoms and resolving my issue. My procedure went smoothly and he explained the process clearly beforehand. I think it would be beneficial if post procedure dietary information was provided either via email or as a leaflet as it was not easy to absorb the i information after being sedated.

For consulting nothing beats face to face , FaceTime / zoom isn t the same . However I think dr maiden managed ok . I generally got the feeling everything was a bit hurried , and especially after the procedures when I was feeling quite drowsy it was difficult to remember all he said . But I think it was backed up by email .

Due to Covid restrictions I was unable to talk through the procedure in person until immediately prior to it but up front queries were answered promptly by e mail. Dr Maiden was very professional and reassuring.

My follow up care has also been excellent with follow up appointments and everything being explained to me fully. I was very impressed with how fast he got back to me to fit me in for my procedure. I was looking for the fastest way possible and he managed to get me fitted into the earliest appointment, so I only had to wait a week. Great service. He came to see me before the procedure and explained exactly what he was going to do and was very patient in explaining it to me again if there was something I didn't understand. During the procedure he was a very calming influence and did not at all change demeanour through it. The procedure was done as fast as possible and then when I was out of recovery he came back to see me and check how I was doing. I thought that he was a very caring individual and I'd very likely refer other people to see him if the need arises.
