"Dr Whitaker has been absolutely outstanding in the care that I received and am continuing to have. I cannot express how truly grateful l am for everything that he has done for me. He went above and beyond by stepping in during my recovery at a very difficult time, and I am finally starting to feel better now thanks to his expertise and care. To have such a diligent, kind, and extremely effective professional who really cares is such a rare gift to find. Thank you so much for everything, Dr Whitaker."
Very kind and professional. Dr. Whitaker took the time to understand my symptoms and recommend the best course of action, while reassuring me along the way.
Dr Whitaker gave me a sense of his time was mine. Explained what he found, was reassuring. Asked pertinent questions and answered mine. Being open to my possible wobbles after appointment and prepared to further look into them was so kind.
I had a series of visits for tests and then heart surgery. On every occasion the entire team were friendly and professional. They went out of their way to make the experience as worry free as possible, with mr Whitaker taking time to explain what was happening at every stage. In short, a perfect example of why our health system is unique and envied world over.

Dr Whitaker is a very caring and professional. The recent review was done in a timely manner and I would recommend him should I ever be asked.
Dr Whitaker carried out the fitting of my pacemaker and the follow up consultation. He throughout the whole time has acted in a friendly but very professional manner and is clearly very competent. The operation went well and throughout the whole process he has explained all I need to know giving me great confidence. For the follow up I had two appoints being initially for some tests and calibration of my pacemaker the for a consultation with Dr Whitaker. I arrived slightly early for the tests and was seen right on time which to is a nice surprise for a hospital and since all that was over with quite quickly I assumed I would have an hour wait since the appointment for Dr Whitaker was not until then but in fact he saw me straight away which meant I had no wasted time and could get home before the rush hour which was much appreciated. I can honestly say I would recommend Dr Whitaker.
Dr. John Whitaker took the time to really listen to my symptoms and concerns. I was very nervous about what I had been experiencing, but he approached the appointment with a calm and attentive manner that immediately helped put me at ease. He listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and made me feel genuinely heard rather than rushed through the consultation. His bedside manner was excellent, and I left the appointment feeling reassured and supported. I’m very grateful for the care and attention he showed.
John is an excellent colleague and clinician. He truly cares for his patients, is excellent communication and can break down concepts so they're clearly understood. He has a special interest in ventricular arrhythmias and we have worked together to treat patients with difficult arrhythmias.

CardiologistI first met Dr. John Whitaker when he was a Senior House Officer and encouraged him to pursue a career in electrophysiology. Since then, he has become an expert operator in the field of ventricular tachycardia (VT) ablation, and we now perform our most complex VT ablations together. These cases often involve prolonged procedures with both endocardial and epicardial approaches, requiring advanced techniques such as phrenic nerve deflection and venous alcohol ablation. I have complete trust in his skill, judgment, and dedication to achieving the best possible outcomes for patients.
