Dr Pattle made my visit a positive experience. From the moment the consultation began, her bedside manner was impeccable. She listened carefully and attentively to my symptoms without rushing or dismissing anything, which immediately made me feel taken seriously and supported. She explained clearly what the possible causes could be and talked me through the reasoning behind each possibility in a way that was both reassuring and easy to understand. She also suggested a sensible temporary treatment to help manage things in the meantime, while outlining the steps needed to investigate further. Importantly, she arranged a referral for additional investigation so that the issue can be properly explored rather than simply treated superficially. Throughout the appointment she was thoughtful, thorough, and genuinely humane in her approach. And at every stage made me involved in the treatment and the next steps decision. It’s rare to encounter a doctor who combines clinical clarity with such kindness and respect for the patient’s experience. I felt listened to, informed, and well cared for.
