Dr Iqbal Malik gives clear explanations to patients, making complex matters easy to understand. Patients highlight his expertise, professionalism, and reassuring approach during consultations. He is experienced, thorough, kind, and attentive, putting patients at ease. His care leads to positive outcomes for various complex procedures including Patent Foramen Ovale closure, angioplasty, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), and coronary stent insertion. Comprehensive cardiac diagnostics are key to many patient journeys with Dr Malik.
Dr Malik provided useful information to manage my heart condition. It was good to know that there is no need for any surgical intervention at present. His explanations satisfied the queries that I had. I shall follow his advice to have the Echo cardiagram at Hammersmith Hospital so he has access to the CD. I am grateful to Dr Malik for the management of my condition and I am feeling 50% better as regards the shortness of breath and ankle swelling.
Dr Malik explained everything thoroughly and inspired confidence. I felt that he had my best interests at heart and understood my concerns..
I honestly can’t recommend Professor Malik enough. From the very first appointment he just had this way of making me feel completely calm — which if you know what I was going through, was no small thing. He performed my PFO closure and was so reassuring and positive throughout the whole process, genuinely helping my headspace more than he probably realises. His expertise is obvious but it’s the way he makes you feel that really stays with you. So grateful to have been in his hands.
Dr Malik is brilliant. Very happy with him looking after my cardio issues.
Dr Malik's treatment of my 92 year old mother has been excellent. He has been very professional and reassuring throughout, with a welcome ability to clearly explain the issues that need to be addressed and the way forward to deal with them. The follow up tests and procedures were quickly arranged and it was particularly appreciated that some of them were carried out on the same day as the consultation, saving time and the trouble of multiple visits. Special thanks to Sharon, who has been so efficient, with an incredible turn around rate in all that she does to support Dr Malik.
I find Dr Malik very easy to talk to . He explains complex matters very simply and gives good down to earth advice.
I was referred to Dr Malik following a diagnosis of Patent Foramen Ovale after having a stroke. I found Dr Malik to be warm and easy to talk to. His confident manner and clear communication gave both myself and my husband confidence in knowing that I would be in the very best hands for the procedure I required. Post surgery, I was well cared for and any concerns were dealt with quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Malik - you'll be very well looked after.

It is a pleasure to help you in your medical journey

Dr Malik was attentive to my concerns. He is very experienced and provided comforting answers. He took time to explain my new medication and why I need to take it

Thank you. Understanding why you are taking the pills makes it so much easier to continue taking them! I pride myself as a communicator
