About Professor Huw Beynon
Dr Beynon’s clinical interests include inflammatory arthritis and connective tissue diseases, crystal arthropathies, soft tissue rheumatology, osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases, and general medical problems in the elderly. He provides specialist advice and clinical care to a wide range of patients with rheumatological and general medical problems. He has a keen interest in teaching and education and has been regularly involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students at UCL Medical School.
Dr Beynon has also been active in clinical research, with a particular interest in clinical trials, and has published widely in peer-reviewed journals. He is an active member of a number of professional bodies including the British Society for Rheumatology and the Royal College of Physicians.
