Dr Gerald McCann

Dr Gerald McCann is a cardiologist with a subspecialist interest in MRI scanning. They conduct experimental research to better understand heart disease and clinical trials to assess the optimal investigation strategies and treatments for patients with, or at risk of developing, heart disease.

Dr McCann is recognised for their expertise in Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging and is interested in the study of in-vivo cardiac disease using novel imaging techniques. Their research interests include the genetics of heart disease and hypertension.
