It was an excellent experience - from start to finish - and vitally it has greatly changed my quality of life for the better.
Dr Wright provided excellent professional guidance, discussed all diagnostic and treatment options thoroughly and in simple terms. I felt reassured that I was in good hands. Thank you.
Today was a follow up appointment after a successful cardiac ablation in March at Ross Hall Dr Wright is friendly and calm and explained everything clearly, which put me at ease. I’m so grateful to him for making me better! Thank you!
Dr Gary Wright and his brilliant team created such a calm environment, with the patient central to everything. I received the very best of care from start to finish.
Dr.Wright was very pleasant and professional. Discussed my condition and treatment options at length. He answered my questions and I understood what the position was.
Dr Wright put my mind at ease going through the details of the up and coming operation, he was first class
Dr Wright put me at ease about the ablation procedure from my first consultation with him in July 2023. He explained about the possibility that it might need to be repeated and I was quite at ease when my atrial fibrillation returned two years later. I underwent a second ablation procedure 3 months ago and I have not had a repeat episode since.
I had no experience of heart conditions or AFib prior March this year. Having been advised of possible AFib, I reviewed various cardiologists and decided on Dr Wright. I am glad I did. His explanations were clear and his manner was caring but not overly concerning. Therefore, I felt I had enough information to understand my situation, take advice given but also know the signs for when treatment or medication might need reviewing.
I visited Dr Wright for an atrial fibrillation diagnosis. He explained the condition in a manner that was understandable and spent time discussing my treatment options. I then had an ablation under his care and the procedure was carried out successfully. I felt confident in his care and was put at ease throughout the day. I would highly recommend him for his expertise and knowledge and his care and understanding of a difficult time.
Unfortunately due to circumstances outwith anyone's control my chosen consultant could not complete the procedure, however he requested Dr Wright take the lead and the procedure was carried out in line with the planned schedule. Dr Wright's manner was equally as professional and personable as the original consultant and put me at ease immediately on the morning of the procedure, explaining in detail that was easy to understand. His efficiency was remarkable, having the letter stating further detail of work carried out and the successful outcome awaiting in my email before the anaesthetic had worn off! In the recovery area Dr Wright again took the time to ensure all was well before he had satisfied himself that the outcome was as hoped. An excellent team around him in an excellent facility.
Gary is an excellent electrophysiologist who is very skilled in ablation and devices.
