Many patients seek Dr Wright's care for irregular heartbeats, finding effective treatment for their heart conditions.
My recent visit to Ross Hall Hospital to have a Pulse Field Ablation done by Dr Gary Wright was an altogether straightforward experience. Everything was explained in advance in a careful and considerate way despite the fact he must have done that so many times before, explaining both procedure and expected outcome. He also patiently answered the many questions my son and I asked at the first consultation. Following the procedure, Dr Wright followed up saying if I had any questions about the recovery, to get in touch. I could not have been looked after any better.
On entering the Hospital I realised immediately that I was being looked after by a well organised team of people who treated me with a polite ,calm and professional manner which allayed my fears. Dr. Wright explained the procedure to me in straight forward language which resolved my anxiety and he instilled in me a complete confidence in his abilities. I was able to put my trust in Dr.Hart the anaesthetist after listening to him. When I entered the catheter Lab. I was struck immediately by the close team of staff. After the procedure I was taken to a high dependency area and then the ward. Throughout this period, my care was exemplary. I was discharged late afternoon with clear instructions and an appointment to see Dr. Wright. At no time did I require pain relief. My own previous experience in Health care of being in charge of a department meant I was able to recognise a well organised team of professionals who were looking after me
I recently underwent an SVT ablation with Dr Gary Wright and I cannot recommend him enough. Dr Wright was extremely personable, informative and approachable. His demeanour was very calming and put any concerns I had at ease. The full team in the Cath Lab were outstanding as well. They made me feel safe and advised me every step of the way. Peter (aka Neil) was incredibly kind and supportive - he never left my side. I even got to see the catheters still present inside my heart on the screen - very cool! I was very nervous leading up to my procedure. Thankfully due to the full team, I left feeling very little discomfort and a positive experience.
Dr Gary Wright filled me with confidence from the first second I met him at the initial consultation to discuss my catheter ablation procedure. On the day of my procedure he was very professional, reassuring and the catheter ablation procedure was seamless. For anyone considering this procedure with Dr Gary Wright, then I would encourage you to proceed as you are in safe hands!
Dr. Wright has a lovely friendly manner, very approachable. He explained everything clearly and more importantly he really listened. Could not have expected more.
I felt extremely nervous about my atrial fibrillation but Dr wright has eased my anxiety and set a plan to allow me to get back to my normal active lifestyle. He was professional and took time throughout the consultation to answer all my questions, I left feeling at ease with my condition and confident that I was being listened to and cared for.
My experience with Dr Gary Wright and his dream team was excellent, doctor Wright explained everything to me from start to finish of my atrial fibrillation opp,, I would highly recommend doctor Wright to anyone looking to have an atrial fibrillation ablation. James M.
Dr Wright has been really kind and encouraging throughout the process. I felt like I could trust him 100% and he explained the process and risks thoroughly. I could not have asked for any better doctor.
Dr Wright is exceptionally personable, professional & efficient. He puts your mind at ease instantly. I would highly recommend him.
Dr Wright quickly understood my symptoms and checked them with some very specific questions and then was able to reassure me that what I was experiencing was relatively normal and non-life threatening. He took an ECG reading and suggested some next steps for me to be able to check if the symptoms I have match his diagnosis. I'm very pleased I made the decision to consult him.
Gary is an excellent electrophysiologist who is very skilled in ablation and devices.
