Excellent
No real history taken at beginning of appointment. Tests were rushed. Son could see out of booth which was distracting. Son has learning difficulties but explanation at end was so rushed and fast, that no one could possibly understand. Felt dismissed and no offer to follow up. Test was thorough but left with more questions than answers.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We are sorry to hear that aspects of the appointment did not meet your expectations. You were booked for a 45-minute hearing assessment, and we extended your appointment by an additional 15 minutes, as the next patient, who was waiting to be seen, kindly allowed us the extra time. We strive to give each patient the attention they need and regret if this still felt rushed to you. We were not made aware of your son's learning difficulties prior to the appointment. Had we known, we would have made arrangements for additional time to ensure his needs were fully supported. The testing booth has a clear window to allow the clinician to monitor the patient and ensure the equipment remains properly positioned for accurate results. However, we do encourage patients to keep their eyes closed during testing to minimise distractions. We understand that the amount of information shared can sometimes feel overwhelming, and we apologise if the explanation at the end of the appointment felt rushed. As mentioned both during the appointment and in the report provided, we are more than happy to answer any questions or clarify anything further. Please do feel free to reach out to us, as we would not want you to leave with any unanswered questions. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to assist you further as required.
