Dr Bernard Khoo qualified from University of Cambridge, where he also completed the MBPhD programme. He then completed his speciality training in Endocrinology and Diabetes at St Bartholomew's Hospital, during which time he was appointed Wellcome Trust Advanced Fellow from 2003-2006. Since 2009, he has been appointed as Senior Clinical Lecturer in Endocrinology at UCL Medical School.
Bernard sees more than a thousand patients a year with general endocrine conditions at the Royal Free Hospital. His specialist interests include neuroendocrinology and neuroendocrine tumours, as well as genetic endocrine disorders.
Bernard is also the endocrinologist for the Royal Free Neuroendocrine Tumour Multidisciplinary Team and participates in the Royal Free Thyroid Cancer Multidisciplinary Team.
