Mr Arun Jain

Mr Arun Jain is a highly experienced Consultant Urological Surgeon based in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. He specialises in the diagnosis and management of benign prostate disorders (BPH), urinary tract infections (UTIs), urinary stones, scrotal swellings, and cancers of the prostate, kidney and bladder. His surgical expertise includes the Rezum procedure for prostate enlargement, cystoscopic surgery, laser treatment of urinary stones, robotic kidney surgery and bladder cancer resection, providing patients with a comprehensive range of modern urological treatments.

Mr Jain graduated with an MBBS from the University of Delhi in 1990, followed by an MS in General Surgery in 1994 and FRCS in 1999. He further enhanced his academic standing with an MPhil from the University of Bradford in 2007. He is on the GMC Specialist Register for Urology.

Mr Jain has held significant leadership roles throughout his career, including serving as Clinical Director of Urology at Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust (now part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust) from 2011 to 2018. He also worked as Associate Director of Medical Education at Pennine Acute Trust.

He is an active member of several professional organisations, including the British Association of Urological Surgeons, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and the British Medical Association. He is also a recipient of the prestigious EUSP Scholarship awarded by the European Board of Urology.

Mr Jain has contributed extensively to the academic field, with publications in international journals such as European Urology, Clinical Oncology, Journal of Endourology and Urology. He has been a reviewer for Urology News and has presented his work at leading international conferences, including the National Cancer Research Institute, the European Association of Urology and the British Association of Urological Surgeons.
