Dr Andrew Affleck went to Glasgow University in 1990 where he studied medicine and experimental pathology until 1997.
Affleck studied General Medicine until 2001 when he switched to Dermatology. He studied this at Inverclyde Royal Infirmary for 1 year then Glasgow Royal Infirmary for 6 months before moving to Nottingham for 4 years as a Specialist Registrar. He then relocated to Dundee to do a 1-year Clinical Fellowship in Mohs surgery after which he started as a Consultant Dermatologist & Dermatological Surgeon in NHS Tayside in January 2008. He started in private practice in December 2012.
