Dr Anant Patel

Dr Anant Patel is an experienced respiratory and acute medicine physician, who currently leads the respiratory medicine teams at both Cleveland Clinic London and Royal Free Hospital. He qualified from Guy's & St Thomas' Medical School with distinction in clinical subjects, before completing his postgraduate training across various prestigious hospitals in London. In 2010 he won a fellowship from the Medical Research Council, and has since been conducting original research that has been highly ranked by his peers. Most recently, Dr, Patel was awarded the 2019 Clinician of the Year Award at Royal Free Group for his outstanding work with patients suffering from lung cancer - providing them with holistic care that achieved some of the best clinical outcomes in terms of survival rates nationally. Beyond his work as a doctor, Dr, Patel is also passionate about raising awareness of smoking cessation and air pollution prevention; winning the 2021 London Public Sector Changemaker of the Year Award for campaigning against harmful emissions.
