I cannot praise him highly enough. His care is absolutely outstanding. We use the expression "going the second mile." He goes the third and fourth. He is obviously caring, interested and involved. I trust him.

A wonderful Doctor, who gives very clear information and I have 100% trust in him. He showed me this care when I had COVID and double pneumonia.

Brilliant consultant, totally patient-focussed.

Dr Rismani has the perfect ‘bedside manner’. He shows respect for me as an individual, as well as for my intelligence. He tells me ‘like it is’,and doesn’t seek to minimise the risks or harsh realities of my condition or its treatment. I therefore trust his prognoses and reassurances. He is clearly respected by all of his colleagues, with whom he promptly consults when complex queries arise. Above all, he responds very promptly to my calls and queries, often within minutes,( though I try very hard not to trouble him unnecessarily). This protects me from undue worry - and reassures me that my appropriate care is his highest priority. Having experienced my original diagnosis within the NHS at the onset of the nurse’s strike, the contrast in my care could not be greater. Dr Rismani does not strut about displaying a delicate and inflated ego, (despite his excellence as a haematologist). He exudes a love and respect for his fellow man, which is in itself curative. I cannot thank him enough for his excellent expertise and care.

Dr Ali Rismani has a wonderful bedside manner,he gives me total confidence in his opinions and advising on the treatments I might need as well as the Drugs. He goes out of his way to visit me when I am having treatment and he updates me regarding my treatment plan. I feel that I am very lucky to be under his care.

I could not be happier with my choice of Consultant. Dr. Rismani is competent, thorough, warm, engaging and patient. He always responded almost immediately to every question I had. He sent me countless articles and clinical research when I wanted to dig deeper into treatment options, and it was very clear that he is a subject matter expert on all things Hematology related. He requested additional testing beyond what my NHS consultant recommended, which resulted in a different diagnosis and different treatment. I’m so grateful for Dr. Rismani’s thoroughness and care. He genuinely cares about his patients and works tirelessly to advocate for us. I’m very grateful to Dr. Rismani for looking after me and I’m pleased to say that 12 months later I’m still in remission. If you’re debating which Consultant to go with, you’d be remiss to not at least book an initial consultation with Dr. Rismani. You’ll see for yourself how excellent he is. He’s also just a great human being and a joy to chat to, which makes a big difference when you’re going through something as unpleasant as cancer.
