Dr Ali Rismani

Dr Ali is one of the most amazing doctors that I have met so far! His personal care, going out of the way to explain and support patients is out of ordinary. Through random search, I found him. And I feel lucky to find such a supportive, warm human!

I have been cared for by Dr Rismani since 2017 when I was diagnosed with a type of leukemia. During that time, he has been a model of professionalism, compassion, empathy and care, both for me and my family. Dr Rismani was clear in helping us to understand the gravity of my health situation, explaining the nature of the disease and the recommended treatment. During the process of treatment and recovery, he continued to be present and always willing to discuss any question that we may have had or help when I was hospitalised. All of this provided an immeasurable level of reassurance that was immensely important psychologically and, I'm sure, made the process of chemotherapy and recovery more manageable. This approach has continued since I have entered remission. This has been especially helpful during the pandemic, when worries about the potential impact of coronavirus on me was real. I cannot commend Dr Rismani highly enough. I am very grateful for his care.

Dr Rismani is an outstanding physician. He is highly professional, hugely knowledgeable, has a warm and engaging manner, is proactive and has great listening skills. He has been my consultant haematologist for seven or eight years now and my sessions with him are always positive and reassuring. I always feel I am in excellent hands. He often brings students into the consultations, after checking I am happy (I always am!) and he has a great style with them too - encouraging, humorous, questioning but never patronising. I have also met and be seen by a range of Dr Rismani’s junior doctors and it is clear they have a great admiration and respect for him - always an excellent sign. I consider myself very lucky to be one of his customers!

Dr Rismani is brilliant at keeping in touch with patients and replying quickly to questions we might have. His personal charm and unfailing good humour creates trust in him in his patents. I have on occasions turned to him when I have failed to contact other doctors and he is always quick to help out. I can't recommend him highly enough.
