Dr Alexandra Jane Kent

Dr. Alexandra Kent is a renowned consultant gastroenterologist at King's College Hospital NHS Trust as well as an honorary senior lecturer at King's College London. Her private practice is at the Cleveland Clinic London Hospital. In addition to her clinical work, she is also the Education and Research Lead within her busy NHS department. she sees a wide range of gastroenterological presentations, and is able to offer her patients high level of expertise in diagnosis and treatment, with over two decades of experience in medicine.

• Acid reflux
• Abdominal pain

Dr. Kent gained her medical degree in Liverpool, graduating in 1999. Following this she went on to gained valuable experience in the field of gastroenterology; her specialty training taking place at the Imperial College Healthcare Trust, one of the most prestigious institutions in the UK. Her interests include luminal gastroenterology and inflammatory bowel disease.

Dr. Kent is active in research and prior to her current role, she spent five years conducting clinical and basic science research into inflammatory pathways while based at Oxford University.

Outside of work, Dr. Kent enjoys travelling, theatre, spending time with family, and exploring new cities.
