Dr Ajit Menon

Dr Ajit Menon is a Consultant Rheumatologist who sees private patients at Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital. He specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions, with clinical interests in inflammatory arthritis, autoimmune connective tissue diseases, osteoporosis, vasculitis and non-inflammatory musculoskeletal conditions, including joint pain and soft tissue disorders.

After qualifying with an MBBS from the University of Delhi in 1991, Dr Menon completed an MD in Medicine before undertaking specialist training in Rheumatology in the West Midlands Deanery. He was appointed as a Consultant Rheumatologist at Haywood Hospital in 2009, where he leads the musculoskeletal service in Stoke-on-Trent. He also has an interest in the use of information technology to support the delivery of clinical services and is involved in rheumatology research, serving as a principal and sub-investigator in clinical trials.

Dr Menon is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and a member of the British Society for Rheumatology.
