About Dr Abhay Bajpai
Dr. Abhay Bajpai is a Consultant Cardiologist and Interventional Electrophysiologist based at Epsom Hospital and St George's Hospital NHS Trust, London. He regularly manages heart rhythm disorders, autonomic dysfunction, syncope and risk stratification in cardiac disorders.
Dr. Bajpai is highly experienced in all varieties of complex and standard ablation procedures for correction of heart rhythm disorders including radiofrequency ablation and cryo ablation. He also undertakes implantation of cardiac devices including pacemakers, loop recorders, cardiac defibrillators (ICD) and cardiac resynchronisation devices for heart failure (CRTP and CRTD devices).
Dr. Bajpai is active in research and as well as having published numerous book chapters, he is also widely published in leading journals as well as being regularly involved in clinical research projects at St George's Hospital. Thanks to his expertise, he is the clinical lead for Arrhythmia Services at Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust also.
Further to his busy practice and work in research, he is also an Honorary Lecturer at St George's University, London; mentoring the next generation of doctors.
