Dr Praveen Molanguri is a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine based at Ashtead Hospital and Epsom General Hospital with over 15 years of experience.
Dr Molanguri completed his medical degree at NTR University of Health Sciences, India in 1997 followed by his residency training in respiratory medicine at the same university in 2004. He later relocated to the UK and became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2006. He later received his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in Respiratory Medicine and was appointed as a Consultant in 2015.
Dr Molanguri has specialist expertise in airway diseases, including: asthma, COPD and bronchiectasis, as well as interstitial lung disease, obstructive sleep apnoea, pulmonary embolism and post-COVID lung disease. In his NHS Trust, he is the Lead for non-invasive ventilation.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Molanguri holds professional memberships with the British Thoracic Society and the European Respiratory Society.
