Dr Douglas Duncan is a dedicated Consultant Anaesthetist who delivers comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals undergoing surgical procedures. Dr Duncan works closely alongside surgical teams to design tailored anaesthetic plans tailored to each individual's health needs and concerns, ensuring patients feel fully supported and reassured.

In his clinical practice, Dr Duncan maintains a specialist interest in neuroanaesthesia as well as advanced anaesthesia for head and neck cancer surgery. He is skilled in complex airway management and modern perioperative monitoring techniques designed to maintain optimal stability during surgery and promote a smooth recovery afterwards. His empathetic approach helps ease pre-procedure anxiety, allowing patients to feel safe and well-informed throughout their care.

Dr Duncan completed his postgraduate specialist training in anaesthesia in Southeast Scotland. To further enhance his knowledge in advanced anaesthetic techniques, he subsequently completed a provisional fellowship in Melbourne, Australia.
