Dr Danielle Shaw

Dr Danielle Shaw is a highly qualified Consultant Medical Oncologist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centred care across a broad spectrum of oncological conditions. Serving in senior clinical leadership roles, including as a Clinical Director, she leads multidisciplinary teams focused on delivering high-quality cancer care and enhancing diagnostic pathways. She is committed to offering tailored treatment strategies that prioritise patient comfort, safety, and clear communication at every stage of diagnosis and management.

Dr Shaw completed her undergraduate medical studies, earning her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Liverpool. She pursued advanced clinical training in medical oncology and earned a Doctorate (PhD) from the University of Manchester, where her research evaluated gynaecological and colorectal cancers. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), demonstrating her adherence to the highest standards of clinical excellence and ongoing professional development.

In her clinical practice, Dr Shaw focuses on the medical management of gynaecological cancers, including ovarian cancer, alongside skin, breast, and lower gastrointestinal malignancies. Her clinical scope also extends to the management of complex presentations such as cancers of unknown primary origin and malignant spinal cord compression. She stays at the forefront of modern oncology by integrating systemic anti-cancer therapies and evidence-based treatments into comprehensive care plans for her patients.
