Mr Cristian Costas

Cristian Costas Batlle is a registered gastroenterology dietitian, specialising in adult coeliac disease.

With over ten years of experience working in the NHS, Cristian has been responsible for setting up a national award-winning dietetic-led coeliac service.

He works closely with patients who are newly diagnosed, providing them with education and support to help with their diagnosis and dietary management. He is highly experienced in supporting people with peristent symtpoms and food anxiety, which are very common challenges in coeliac disease.

Cristian is also extremely active in spreading awareness of coeliac disease. He wants people to recognise the importance of receiving a diagnosis and support surrounding dietary management, to help those with coeliac disease reduce further complications and improve their gut health.
