Miss Chloë Wright

Miss Chloë Wright is a Consultant Chest Contouring and Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, serving as the lead for the chest contouring service at Manchester Foundation NHS trust. With a focus on gender-affirming masculinising top surgery, she has performed over 300 cases. Additionally, she possesses a broad skill set in breast cancer surgery and aesthetic breast surgery, including procedures such as breast lift, reduction, augmentation, and gynaecomastia correction.

Chloë completed her medical degree at the University of Manchester in 2003, followed by comprehensive training in general and breast surgical procedures. She further refined her skills in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery through a training interface group fellowship. During her pursuit of a master's degree in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, she was awarded with Merit and received the prestigious Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland medal for the highest score in the Royal College of Surgeons fellowship examinations.

Dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, Chloë works closely with her patients to understand their desired outcomes. She is a passionate advocate for trans rights and actively contributes to research and guideline development aimed at improving the healthcare received by trans individuals. Chloë holds memberships in several professional associations, including the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, the British Association of Gender Identity Specialists, the Association of Breast Surgery, and the Royal College of Surgeons England.
