Dr Chee Wah Khoo

Dr Chee Wah Khoo is an experienced Consultant Cardiologist who specialises in comprehensive cardiovascular care and interventional cardiac procedures. He is dedicated to diagnosing and managing a wide range of heart conditions, providing patient-centred care tailored to individual clinical needs. Through his expertise in advanced interventional techniques and evidence-based medicine, Dr Khoo strives to optimise cardiac function and support long-term cardiovascular health.

Dr Khoo holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), a Doctor of Medicine (MD), and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP). He completed his specialist Cardiology training through the West Midlands Specialist Training scheme in 2016. Demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical excellence and ongoing professional development, Dr Khoo is an active member of the British Cardiovascular Society (BCS), the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society (BCIS), the European Association of Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (EAPCI), and the Royal College of Physicians.

In clinical practice, Dr Khoo focuses on general cardiology alongside complex interventional cardiology. His clinical interests encompass ischaemic heart disease, coronary artery disease, and valvular heart disease. He is highly skilled in carrying out coronary angiography, complex percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and structural heart procedures. His procedural capabilities include patent foramen ovale (PFO), atrial septal defect (ASD), and ventricular septal defect (VSD) closures, left atrial appendage occlusion, and transcatheter mitral valve edge-to-edge repair (Mitral-TEER).
