Dr Charlotte Ingle

Dr Charlotte Ingle is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist who specialises in the non-surgical management of cancer. Her clinical practice encompasses the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of oncological conditions, with particular focus on breast cancer, skin cancers including melanoma, pancreatic cancer, and carcinoma of unknown primary. Dedicated to delivering patient-centred and evidence-based care, Dr Ingle works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that treatment plans are tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

Dr Ingle graduated from medical school with distinction in 2003 before undertaking specialist training in Clinical Oncology. She subsequently completed a Master of Science in Oncology with distinction at the Institute of Cancer Research in London and was granted Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2010. Continuing her academic pursuits, she earned a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Cambridge, where her research thesis was awarded the Ralph Noble prize. She maintains professional membership with the Royal College of Radiologists and remains active in medical education and clinical research.

In her day-to-day practice, Dr Ingle employs advanced treatment techniques, including intensity-modulated radiotherapy, image-guided radiotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and chemotherapy. Her research interests focus on the application of novel systemic treatments and advanced radiotherapy methodologies aimed at improving patient outcomes and minimising treatment side effects. As a principal investigator for clinical trials, she stays at the forefront of developments in oncological science to integrate modern therapies into clinical care.
