Miss Charlotte Cross

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in soft tissue and reconstructive knee surgery. Areas of particular expertise include meniscal, ligamentous, and patello-femoral pathologies. I am dedicated to joint preservation techniques, especially in younger patients presenting with osteoarthritis.

I am passionate about providing individualised treatment plans, enabling patients to return to their desired level of activity, including sports. I am also committed to surgical training and education and am the Orthopaedic Lead at Manchester University.

I am the Clinical Director for Trauma and Orthopaedics at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals and am constantly striving to improve teh department and patient experience while maintaining patient safety.

I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2006 and undertook higher surgical training in the North West of England.  I completed a fellowship in peri-articular osteotomy and have been a Consultant since 2018.
