About Mrs Catherine Rabess

Catherine Rabess, a Registered Dietitian, is the driving force behind Caff Dietitian—a project born out of her passion for cooking and creating healthy, balanced, and straightforward meals. Catherine was absolutely fantastic and was incredibly helpful during a vulnerable period of time in my life. I was a few weeks post bowel surgery and struggling to eat. There was so much anxiety around what was safe and what wasn't so after several consultations with various practitioners, I chose Catherine. She was friendly, persoable and instantly made me feel at ease. Through her in depth knowledge and phased plan, I was able to regain confidence in enjoying my meals again. Since working with her, I have completely changed my diet and feel great as a result of doing so. I highly recommend Catherine and she will be my first point of contact should I require dietary support again. Many thanks!

I felt in such safe hands with Caff - it was clear how skilled she is in the area of gastroenterology-specific conditions. Her warmth and empathy put me at ease straight away. There was no need for me to feel embarrassed discussing my bowel issues. She took time to fully understand my situation and challenges, and therefore created suitable dietary plans alongside me, with tailored adaptations, so it felt personalised, realistic and viable. Caff has been an integral part of my recovery journey. She is a rare gem in the healthcare profession.

Reassuring, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I understand better my medical condition and my dietary needs. I have some short term goals and will be in touch with Catherine for my future needs and to see how I'm getting on. I have a complex condition (SIBO) and acid reflux following an oesophaectomy. I was struggling to treat myself through dietary means alone even though I do have some knowledge of food management and nutrition.. There are times when you need professional/specific guidance and Catherine provided it. I found the Google Meet experience more engaging than a phone call.

I had the pleasure to work with Caff for a few sessions and it’s been an absolute treat! She made sure that my goals were realistic, she has been considering my lifestyle and she made sure that the adjustments needed were safe and easy to follow on the long-term. I can only recommend working with her as she will make each plan step bespoke for yourself (and adapt it when needed), all of that depending on your needs. And on top of that, you are always welcomed with a genuine BIG smile and plenty of positivity! Caff thank you so much from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Caff’s precision in identifying improvements to my struggling gut health has truly boosted my quality of life. Within just a few days after my initial consultation with Caff, I experienced improvements which I have finally learned to sustain by eliminating foods which aggravated my specific gut issues. I had been consuming a lot of fibre, but the wrong type of fibre for my digestive system to process well. Caff took the time to discover the different cultural foods I enjoyed and my lifestyle and then created a personalised diet plan that I wish I had received decades earlier in my life. Six months on, I’m still reaping the benefits of meeting Caff. I finally feel in control and I no longer avoid events and activities due to indigestion and gut pain.

I reached out to Caff because I was genuinely in a very hopeless place with my health. I had spent nearly 2 years trying to invoke an improvement and wasn't getting anywhere. Caff gave me not only some exceptionally insightful dietic guidance, but (as importantly) she gave me hope. Not through false promises but by really seeing that I was struggling and reading me so well. One of Caff's greatest's skills is her empathy. I always felt heard and properly listened to and never judged. Through Caff's help my life is like night and day and I will always, always recommend Caff to anyone. She is completely amazing.
