Dr Catherine Cafferkey

Dr Catherine Cafferkey is a highly regarded Consultant Medical Oncologist based in London, specialising in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of breast cancer and acute oncology. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centred care, combining the latest advancements in oncology with tailored treatment plans to optimise patient outcomes. Her clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of cancer types, with a particular focus on breast cancer, gynaecological cancers, lung cancer, and colorectal cancer. She is highly skilled in administering advanced chemotherapy regimens, personalised cancer therapies, and targeted treatment approaches.

Dr Cafferkey completed her medical training at the University of London, qualifying in 2004. She went on to undertake Specialist Registrar training in Medical Oncology at a renowned specialist cancer hospital in London. Furthering her academic credentials, she obtained a Diploma in Oncology from the Institute of Cancer Research. Dr Cafferkey is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians.
