Carol Melton

Carol began her career in Ultrasound in 1987. Since then she has been at the forefront of developing exceptional ultrasound services, having set up the Ultrasound department at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in 1992 leading the service across the south bank, establishing the community service with 360 Care in 2013 and most recently our team of dedicated staff here at Wolds Medical in 2021.

She is gently nurturing, pushing the team to excel in all aspects of the service. In 2022, Carol was a finalist and runner up of the National Advancing Healthcare Awards for her clinical leadership within the community. Her personal expertise is extensive with a particular accent on gynaecology.
