Karishma Josihi

Karishma Joshi is an experienced Sonographer specialising in women’s health, with a focus on gynaecological and pregnancy ultrasound.

She supports patients undergoing scans at important and often sensitive times, including early pregnancy assessments and investigations for conditions such as fibroids and endometriosis. With extensive NHS experience in both radiology and women’s health, she combines strong technical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centred approach.

Karishma holds a first-class honours degree in Diagnostic Radiography, along with a postgraduate qualification in Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound. She is particularly skilled in early pregnancy scanning and the evaluation of chronic gynaecological conditions.

Known for her excellent communication skills, she takes time to clearly explain findings during scans, answer questions, and help patients feel reassured and informed—especially in situations that may feel uncertain or anxiety-provoking.

She has a strong interest in patient education and empowering women to better understand their health, ensuring they feel supported and confident in their care journey.
