I met Miss Grimes in September when I came for a recent consultation which in the end meant that I needed surgery. She was warm, open, down to earth with a good sense of humour. Most importantly, she was approachable. She carried out a thorough investigation and explained the process making time to address questions from me and my family. I had complete confidence that she had my interests at heart and she made the process so much easier than it might have been.

She is kind and understanding and is specialized in her area of expertise and is happy to recommend colleagues of hers to carry on treatments if its not her specialty.

I have been under Miss Grimes care for the past few years intermittently for on - going abdominal issues secondary to previous history of traumatic gynaecology surgery which has resulted in significant adhesions and bowel issues. This lead to referral to the surgical team and I have been very fortunate to have been referred to Miss Grimes. During my time I have found Miss Grimes consistently person - centred, empathetically respectful, use of highly developed personalised skills and effective focused listening skills that ensures my concerns and fears are heard. In addition Miss Grimes practice reflects problem - solving and supportive care through discussion whilst exploring risks and benefits of all options offered allowing shared collaboration and support in the decision - making process. Miss Grimes practice demonstrates substantial knowledge, skills, integrity and experience, skills and performance including safety and quality which promotes trust as a patient. On a personal level I have found Miss Grimes caring, considerate, proactive, compassionate, kind, self - aware, supportive and an effective reflector. Miss Grimes is an outstanding clinician and I have nothing but admiration.
