About Dr. Bridgette Wilson
Dr Bridgette Wilson is a gut specialist clinical and research dietitian with a wealth of clinical dietetic experience gained both in the National Health Service (NHS) and private healthcare.
Her award-winning PhD research on the low FODMAP diet and prebiotics in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and ulcerative colitis has proved invaluable in helping patients to attain good symptom control.
She specialises in helping patients with IBS (both diarrhoea and constipation), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), reflux, dyspepsia and orofacial granulomatosis (oral inflammation).
Since completing her PhD, Dr Wilson has been involved with writing dietary guidelines for IBD management and is continuing her research into IBS treatment at King's College London.
In addition, she has a wealth of experience in helping patients develop healthy balanced eating habits to optimise: general gut health, vegan diets, weight management, diabetes control, polycystic ovary syndrome, and reactive hypoglycaemia.
