Dr Bridget Griffiths

Dr Bridget Griffiths is a highly dedicated Consultant Rheumatologist who provides expert, comprehensive care for patients managing complex musculoskeletal and autoimmune conditions. Focussing on a patient-centred approach, she aims to deliver clear, reassuring guidance to help individuals navigate long-term health challenges. Dr Griffiths is widely recognised for her supportive communication style, helping patients thoroughly understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and overall care plan.

Her clinical practice encompasses the assessment, diagnosis, and management of rare autoimmune connective tissue diseases and vasculitis. Dr Griffiths has a specialist clinical interest in systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and connective tissue disease-related lung and pulmonary complications. She is deeply committed to evaluating the clinical effectiveness of advanced drug therapies, including immunosuppressive and biological treatments, to achieve optimal outcomes for those under her care.

Dr Griffiths earned her primary medical degree (MB ChB) before completing advanced research to obtain a Doctorate of Medicine (MD). She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP UK).
