Dr Boma Lee

Dr Boma Lee is an accomplished Consultant Paediatric Surgeon with extensive clinical experience in delivering specialised surgical care to infants, children, and young people. She is dedicated to offering thoughtful, reassuring, and evidence-based surgical interventions, ensuring that young patients and their families feel fully supported throughout their treatment journey. Her clinical approach emphasises compassionate, child-centred care combined with high standards of medical excellence.

Dr Lee completed her medical degree (MBBS) in London alongside a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc Hons). She subsequently advanced her specialist surgical training, achieving Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Paediatric Surgery (FRCS Paed). Alongside her clinical duties, she plays an active role in medical education and academic instruction as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer, contributing to the training and mentorship of undergraduate medical students.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of paediatric surgical conditions, with a strong focus on paediatric urology and general surgery of childhood. Dr Lee possesses expertise in managing complex nephro-urological conditions, congenital variations, and reconstructive surgical cases. She maintains a specialised clinical interest in conditions affecting sex development, hypospadias repair, and genital reconstructive procedures, consistently striving to optimise health outcomes and long-term quality of life for her young patients.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Lee is actively involved in clinical research and academic publications aimed at validating patient-reported outcome measures and refining surgical techniques.
