Dr Beena Amin

Dr Beena Amin is a highly dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who specialises in providing comprehensive care for children and young people. With a reassuring and professional approach, she is committed to supporting the health and well-being of her young patients from infancy through to adolescence. Dr Amin is widely recognised for her clinical expertise and her ability to deliver compassionate, patient-centred care that addresses both the physical and emotional needs of children and their families.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of general paediatric conditions, with a particular clinical interest in paediatric nephrology. Dr Amin is highly skilled in the investigation and management of children presenting with complex nephro-urological problems and hypertension. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Paediatric Urologists and Clinical Nurse Specialists, to ensure that each child receives a coordinated and tailored treatment plan. Her holistic approach ensures that families are fully supported and informed throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Amin obtained her primary medical qualification, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and subsequently achieved her Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). She has been registered as a specialist Consultant Paediatrician since 2004. In addition to her clinical duties, she is actively involved in integrated child health programmes and collaborative initiatives aimed at improving paediatric care pathways within the wider community.
