Mr Ayman Mohammad

Mr Ayman Mohammad is a Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgeon with more than 15 years of clinical and surgical experience gained across the UK, Germany, Spain and Iraq. Following his medical degree (MBChB) at Nineveh College of Medicine, University of Mosul, he developed his expertise through roles at a number of established surgical centres, combining reconstructive techniques with aesthetic surgery.

A key part of his specialist development was the completion of an International Master’s Degree in Reconstructive Microsurgery at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Spain. This advanced postgraduate training strengthened his knowledge of complex microsurgical procedures. He is also a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), reflecting his involvement in the field of aesthetic surgery.

Throughout his NHS career, Mr Mohammad has worked at several major institutions, including Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London, Salford Royal Hospital, a Major Trauma Centre, The Christie NHS Foundation Trust and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, where he currently works within the Skin Cancer Service. These appointments have given him experience in complex reconstruction following cancer surgery, orthoplastic and trauma procedures, burns surgery and aesthetic treatment.

Alongside his substantive clinical work, he provides independent waiting-list reduction services for multiple NHS trusts. This involves managing high-volume clinics and undertaking definitive reconstructive procedures on the same day, requiring efficient clinical assessment and the ability to manage complex surgical cases.

Mr Mohammad has also contributed to medical research, publishing in peer-reviewed international journals on subjects spanning cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, burns and clinical outcomes. At Signature Clinic, he draws on this clinical and academic background to provide evidence-based treatment, combining technical precision with careful consideration of aesthetic results.

His surgical practice at Signature Clinic includes procedures performed under local or general anaesthetic. Facial surgery forms an important part of his work, including blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), brow lifts and buccal fat removal. His body-contouring procedures include abdominoplasty and liposuction. He also offers breast surgery, nipple and areola reduction, labiaplasty and other intimate and reconstructive aesthetic procedures.

Mr Mohammad speaks Arabic, English and German fluently and can conduct consultations in any of these three languages, helping patients discuss their concerns and treatment options in their preferred language.
