Dr Atessa Assim is a highly experienced German Board-Certified Specialist Dermatologist with over 25 years of clinical expertise in dermatology, venereology, allergology, aesthetic medicine, and dermatosurgery. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based care and shaped by a deep commitment to improving patients’ quality of life—whether through early cancer detection, advanced surgical treatment, or the management of chronic and cosmetically impactful skin conditions.

Dr Assim completed her medical degree at the Philipps-University of Marburg and specialist training at Otto von Guericke University, Magdeburg. She holds additional formal subspecialty qualifications in venereology and allergology, reflecting the breadth and depth of her clinical training.

Before specialising in dermatology, Dr Assim gained substantial experience in anaesthesiology and intensive care, honing critical procedural skills and clinical judgement in high-pressure environments. This foundation informs her calm, confident, and precise approach to dermatological care.

Throughout her career, she has performed over 10,000 dermatosurgical procedures, with particular expertise in oncological excisions and advanced reconstructive techniques.
