Dr Lucy Ostlere

Dr Lucy Ostlere has more than 25 years of dermatology experience, having trained in top dermatology departments such as Chelsea and Westminster, the Royal Free, Kingston and St George's Hospitals.

She was named one of the top 250 medical consultants in England and one of the top ten dermatologists in the Tatler Doctors Guide. She was also recommended in Vogue for her expertise in acne management.

Her special interests include the following

• acne management including treatment with Roaccutane
• eczema
• Mole screening and dermoscopy
• skin cancer screening
• skin cancer care (including surgical and non-surgical therapies such as photodynamic therapy)
• general adult and paediatric dermatology

Dr Ostlere received an honours degree in medicine from St Bartholomew's Medical College after winning multiple awards as a medical student; she also earned a BSc in Psychology from University College London. Her research on atopic eczema earned her an MD, and she has over 80 papers published in peer-reviewed journals. She was appointed Consultant Dermatologist at St George's and Kingston Hospitals after completing her training. At St George's, she has served as Clinical Lead and is currently an Educational Supervisor.

Additionally, Dr Ostlere runs Dermatology Education seminars for general practitioners and delivers lectures to general practitioners, dermatology trainees, and medical students. She belongs to the British Association of Dermatologists,  the European Society for Cutaneous Allergy, the Royal College of Physicians, and the Royal Society of Medicine.
