Are you Asha Read?
Asha Read is a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist with a strong background in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. She graduated from the University of Otago in 2018 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and furthered her education with a Postgraduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy in 2022.
Throughout her career, Asha has shown a particular interest in post-operative knee rehabilitation, especially ACL injuries, as well as ankle and shoulder injuries. Her passion for sports and her experience as a sportsperson herself have allowed her to integrate her knowledge seamlessly into her physiotherapy practice, providing comprehensive care from both a clinician's and an athlete's perspective.
Asha has gained valuable experience working in various settings, including private practice in North Canterbury, New Zealand, and within the MSK Outpatients department at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust in London. Her clinical expertise extends to acute sports injury management, ankle and ACL rehabilitation, post-operative rehabilitation, and shoulder throwing and overhead biomechanics-related injuries.
With her dedication, expertise, and passion for sports physiotherapy, Asha is committed to helping her patients recover from injuries, achieve their rehabilitation goals, and return to their active lifestyles.
