Ms Aseel Hamoud Bedan

Ms Aseel Hamoud Bedan is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Western Eye Hospital, part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. She also practises privately at Hendon Hospital.

Ms Bedan specialises in cataract surgery and the management of medical retinal diseases. She is a highly experienced eye surgeon, having performed more than 4,000 ophthalmic procedures throughout her career. Her clinical expertise includes cataract treatment, retinal disease management, and comprehensive ophthalmic care.

She previously held consultant ophthalmology positions at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. Between 2015 and 2017, she completed a Medical Retina and Research Fellowship at Western Eye Hospital.

Ms Bedan qualified as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in Iraq in 2004 and later expanded her clinical and surgical experience across the UK and Ireland.
