I went for a left eye cataract operation. This was a new hospital for me, rather small, compact, but, of course, there was everything necessary. At the visit for pre-assessment, I felt a bit worried because in the past I had only been to the big general hospitals.. In the waiting room I met a gentleman patient who had his left eye operation a month before or so, said that he was happy with the first operation and that now he came for the other’s eye operation. I was releaved. The day of operation, I was so touched with the nurses help. They knew how to support individual patient, whose age, health conditions, frailty are so different from each other. Their help was not ‘ general ‘ but ‘ personal ‘. From the preparatory room to the surgery bed, they accompanied the patient with the care, so that the patient was relaxed for the operation. At the operation, the nurse was with the patient. After the operation, the male nurse, who was physically stronger, helped the patient back to the recovering room. At the recovering room, a lady nurse looked after the patient with a right gentle voice and right cheerful topic. And tea and a sweet. The cataract surgeon was cool and professional. Her team showed her respect and there was a warm, reliable, friendly atmosphere all around. I had a happy experience there.

very efficient teamwork, a surprisingly short duration on th operation bed, an agreeable feeling of kind but authoritative sympathy before and after th op. All accomplished with an obvious professionality. Felt very 'safe'.

I was greeted in a very friendly manner and was put at my ease as was in a very anxious state , and the staff were very attentive to me and the Medical Treatment I received was Excellent.

She explained well my eye conditions and outcome of my previous and my other eye concerns. She was so helpful and accommodating.
