Mr Asaad Asaad

Mr Asaad is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, where he specialises in hip and knee arthroplasty and limb reconstruction.

His expertise is in the following areas:

• Arthroplasty
• Trauma surgery
• Reconstructive surgery
• Arthroscopy

He is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon in advanced trauma, limb reconstruction, and lower limb arthroplasty. He earned his MD in 2005 from the University of Damascus, followed by his MSc in musculoskeletal sciences from University College London.

Additionally, he is an honorary lecturer at UCL for MSc and BSc students and a Faculty on educational FRCS (orth) course exams.

He gained his CCT in 2021 and holds the FRCS(Orth) and MRCS(Eng).
