Dr Antonella Macerollo

Dr Antonella Macerollo is an accomplished Consultant Neurologist who provides expert assessment and management for a wide spectrum of neurological conditions. Her primary clinical expertise centres on movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease, parkinsonian syndromes, dystonia, essential tremor, orthostatic tremor, and Tourette's syndrome. Dr Macerollo possesses specialised focus in advanced neurofunctional therapies, such as deep brain stimulation and MRI-guided focused ultrasound. She is also deeply invested in utilising neuroimaging and neurophysiological biomarkers to improve early diagnosis and refine patient selection for surgical and neuromodulation interventions.

Dr Macerollo qualified in Medicine at the University of Bari in Italy, where she also completed her specialist training in Neurology, incorporating a two-year clinical fellowship at University College London. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and a Fellow of the European Academy of Neurology.
