About Mr Anoop Anand
Mr Anoop Anand is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in the management of conditions affecting the hip, knee, foot and ankle. After completing his medical degree and postgraduate orthopaedic training in India, he moved to the UK in 2005, beginning his UK orthopaedic career at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. He went on to spend 16 years at the hospital, gaining broad experience across multiple orthopaedic subspecialties, including foot and ankle surgery, lower limb arthroplasty and trauma surgery. This extensive exposure has shaped a well-rounded approach to the assessment and treatment of both routine and complex trauma and lower limb conditions.

Excellent care and treatment by Mr Anand and team at all times.
Mr Anand has proven his skills as a top surgeon in the hip replacement he carried out on myself just 5 months ago. I am now able to fulfil many activities I wasn’t able to do. The hip joint had completely seized and severely restricted my movement. The scar is now almost invisible. I didn’t wait long to be seen, I feel this consultant is listening to my needs more than any other I have seen. I have been offered a different injection which I am happy to try to see if it eases my current pain.
I have had foot surgery and today have had the pin removed from my second toe. Dr Annand was absolutely amazing keeping me informed and updated every step of the way.
