Dr Anna Olsson-Brown

Dr Anna Olsson-Brown is an accomplished Consultant Medical Oncologist with expertise in systemic anti-cancer therapies, skin cancers, sarcoma, and acute cancer care. She provides reassuring, evidence-based care tailored to individual patient needs, with a primary focus on improving treatment outcomes and patient quality of life. Her clinical practice centres on delivering state-of-the-art therapies while ensuring that patients feel fully supported throughout their treatment journey.

Her areas of clinical interest encompass the management of immunotherapeutic toxicities, melanoma, sarcoma, and early phase translational clinical trials. As a specialist in immunotherapy toxicity, Dr Olsson-Brown works to identify, evaluate, and manage the adverse effects associated with modern oncological treatments. She is also dedicated to supportive care and acute oncology, managing urgent medical concerns that arise during cancer therapies to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.

Dr Olsson-Brown completed a Medical Research Council Research Fellow appointment, earning a PhD at the University of Liverpool in 2022 for her research into the immunological mechanisms of immunotherapy toxicity. She also holds a foundational background in clinical pharmacology. Her active professional affiliations include membership with the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, the Association of Cancer Physicians, the UK Acute Oncology Society, and the UK Association for Supportive Care in Cancer, alongside serving as Chief Executive Officer and founding member of the National Immunotherapy Clinical Network.
