Dr Anna Mainwaring

Dr Anna Mainwaring is a dedicated Consultant Urologist who provides expert, empathetic care for patients experiencing a broad spectrum of urological health concerns. Adopting a patient-centred approach, she ensures that every individual receives thorough assessments, clear communication, and personalised treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and wellbeing.

Her clinical interests span several key areas within urology, including female urology, reconstructive urology, andrology, and male infertility. She provides comprehensive care for conditions affecting the urinary tract, bladder function, and reproductive health, utilising modern diagnostic techniques and evidence-based treatment strategies to achieve optimal outcomes.

Dr Mainwaring holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours (BSc Hons) alongside her primary medical qualification, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh). She holds a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Urology, earning the FRCS (Urol) designation. She is also actively involved in professional organisations, holding membership in The British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) and serving on the committee of the Welsh Urological Society, demonstrating a continuous commitment to advancing clinical practice and maintaining high standards of care.
