Dr Ann Scott-Russell

Dr Ann Scott-Russell is a dedicated Consultant Rheumatologist who completed her medical education in London followed by postgraduate specialist training in Rheumatology across the Wessex region. To further expand her diagnostic and clinical skills, she achieved a C.A.S.E-accredited qualification in musculoskeletal ultrasound and completed postgraduate qualifications in Medical Education at Cardiff University.

Specialising in general rheumatology, Dr Scott-Russell has a clinical interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound, utilising real-time imaging to assess soft tissue and joint inflammation accurately. In addition to her clinical practice, she is a member of the British Society for Rheumatology musculoskeletal Special Interest Group and is actively involved in medical education, teaching and mentoring healthcare professionals in ultrasound techniques.

Dr Scott-Russell provides holistic, patient-centred care for individuals with a range of joint, muscle, and autoimmune conditions. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, she delivers tailored, evidence-based treatments—including diagnostic assessments, targeted joint injections, and long-term condition management—to help patients improve their mobility and overall quality of life.
