Dr Sumeet Chander

Dr Sumeet Chander is a Consultant Rheumatologist based in Guildford. His specialist interests include osteoporosis, inflammatory arthritis, inflammatory back disease, connective tissue disorders, vasculitis and crystal arthritis including gout and pseudogout. He enjoys treating a range of rheumatological conditions, and works in both inpatient and outpatient environments. With 30 years of experience as a doctor, he has acquired significant clinical expertise throughout his career, which informs his practice.

Dr Chander completed his degree in Medicine in 1996 from the Ramaiah Medical College. He additionally holds a Master’s degree in Rheumatology from King’s College London. He completed training in the UK in Surrey, Kent, Sussex and London, including time spent working at King’s College Hospital. He is dedicated to his professional development and holds multiple professional memberships including with the British Society for Rheumatology and the Royal College of Physicians.
