Dr Animesh Banerjee

Dr Animesh Banerjee is a highly accomplished Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of otorhinolaryngological conditions. With a patient-focused approach, he specialises in diagnosing and treating disorders of the ear, nose, and throat, ensuring that each individual receives a personalised treatment plan tailored to their specific needs. Throughout his career, Dr Banerjee has developed significant expertise in advanced ENT procedures. His areas of clinical interest include middle ear surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, and nasal reconstruction, including rhinoplasty. He is also highly skilled in head and neck diagnostics, the assessment and management of dizziness, and treating common yet disruptive conditions such as sleep apnoea, chronic ear infections, and tonsillitis. Dr Banerjee completed his medical degree at Nagpur University in 1992, where he subsequently obtained his Master of Surgery in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery in 1994. To further his specialist training, he relocated to the United Kingdom and earned prestigious fellowships, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (FRCSI) and obtaining the Intercollegiate Fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (FRCS (ORL-HNS)). He is an active member of several professional organisations, including the British Association of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT UK) and the Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland.
